Fall Update

Howdy y’all,

Wanted to give an update of all I’ve been up to: 

put out this single, “Amen” last summer 

which is from the upcoming album "<3" which I’m planning on putting out on birthday (end of March) 

I’m also starting to play with Hannah Jay on some of her music

She’s my favorite songwriter in the Boston area and I feel extremely lucky to be able to music with her

here’s a video I cut of her playing a song by a late friend of her’s at my 30th birthday show

We have been recording a record of her's the past couple months 

here’s a short clip of a song that we just finished recording 

I’m playing a couple shows with her this Fall which are listed below

The stuff I've been writing & recording recently has been pretty different - I'm currently making an audio album called “Mirror”.  I'm planning on releasing it in December.  It’s more stream of conscious & journalesque than anything I’ve released so far - (sort of like “Eternity in Hell is a Long Time” in regards to writing approach, but like polar opposite in regards to emotion).  Some of it will be from recordings at live shows / in public spaces.  Here's the first thing I wrote that will be on it that I performed at this show / marathon-drone performances thing called Dronezone last February:

this song/recording uses a 800% slowed down sample of the song "Mirror" by Hannah Jay (hannahjay.bandcamp.com/track/mirror)
some of the rest of the album samples & references some of her other work as well
