Last night I reunited with a good friend and band member, Kenyon Kowal.  It was awesome to be able to catch up with him and towards the end of the night we began talking about possibly recording an EP while I'm in Sarasota, FL this week.  Really looking forward to playing music with him again (it's been since October!), figuring out some Koala stuff, and the possibility of recording another EP as a duo.

So keep an ear our for that, and in the meantime you can check out an EP we made almost two years ago now, "depart/distance/difference".  We made it as some friends began moving away - for me my brother leaving to go to college (in Sarasota, where I'm visiting now) and other good friends either leaving Boston for internships or graduating from Berklee and dispersing across the country.  In my mind it's about a process - of the departure (saying your "see you later" to that someone knowing it'll be a while before you see them again), feeling the distance apart and missing that person, and then realizing that this person is going to be growing in different ways wherever they are and that the next time you see them they will be different in some way.
