(Beck’s bright and bubbly pop album has got some great production, but lacks any real depth. The single “Up All Night” really does sound like it could have been sung by Katy Perry without much being lost).

(At the Drive In’s return had me hopeful as they were one of my favorite bands in high school - but it’s completely unnecessary, disposable, and I truly wish it didn’t exist to taint the band’s otherwise solid discography).
