Winter Shows

THIS WEDNESDAY (1/30):  The Pharcyde – Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde Live + Endangered Speeches  (at The Middle East Downstairs)

For this classic hip hop album's 20th anniversary the Pharcyde will be playing it in it's entirety.  The original members Fatlip and SlimKid3, and producers J-Sw!ft and L.A. Jay will be there.  This is seriously one of the greatest hip hop records ever made and this is going to be amazing.

THIS THURSDAY (1/31): Buke and Gase (at Brighton Music Hall)

FEB 10TH - Jeff Magnum (at Lupos in Providence)

FEB 13th - Yo La Tengo (at Paradise Rock Club)
Check out the closing track from their great new album, "Fade".

MARCH 2ND - Mouse On Mars (at Great Scott)
One of my favorite electronic artists of all time.  So pumped to finally be able to see them live, especially after their album from last year "Parastrophics" which kicks a whole lot of ass.  And the live set up for this tour is ridiculous

MARCH 6th - Kurt Rosenwinkel (at the Regattabar)

MARCH 7th - Animal Collective with Dan Deacon
Last time I saw them was right after Merriweather and they killed it, I am stoked to see these guys again.  And even though I didn't give their new album the most favorable review in my top albums of 2012, from live videos I've seen, some of the tunes from the new album sound pretty darn sick live.  And Dan Deacon is opening?!?  Ummm...yes please?
